Purifying is the first step to acheive healthy skin and we consider it the most important. We believe that cleansing should never strip the skin of her biological defense such as lipids, acids, healthy bacteria and skin cells that aren't ready to turn over. This is why we don't include surfactants, foaming agents or other synthetic performance enhancing addatives. Preserving skin barrier discourages signs of inflammation, acne and improves overall skin health by supporting skin's biological defense system

WILDBIOME CLEANSERS

A Hydrosol is a beautiful result of plant distillation; the combination of pure water and fresh botanical material, gently heated using solar energy. The fragrant liquid is the water-soluable essence of the plant which we can apply directly to skin for a wealth of benefits. Hydrosol is the “water element” of the moisturization process; which we package and deliver separately from the moisture element, to avoid using needless emulsifiers that may harm skin barrier.

ARTISAN HYDROSOLS

STEP 3

Our botanical Serums are the “oil element” of the moisturization process. The Lion’s share of our skin serums begin with a maceration of organic whole plants, most often locally sourced from small New England Farms. We source the highest quality plant oils and extracts, bringing only the most vibrant and vital oils into each serum. We use a low dilution of essential oils and potent C02 plant extracts to elevate the entire formula and work synergistically with our chosen whole plants.

POTENT BOTANICAL SERUMS

STEP 4: OPTIONAL

Think of Balms as that last protective layer, to seal in hydration and keep the elements out. Our balms are formulated like our serums, with a maceration of organic whole plants, plant oils and extracts, and a low dilution of essential oils and extracts. We upgrade the moisturization process with thicker plant butters or beeswax that forms an occlusive barrier over the skin. A Balm is the ideal final step for especially parched skin, cold and dry climates, or compromised skin barrier.
