Wilder North was born from the influence of a grandfather who kept bees, tended a garden, and lived deeply rooted in the Vermont land. That heritage runs through every hive ingredient we use — five in total — each chosen with the same care and traceability we bring to every botanical in our line.

This isn't a sourcing detail. It's an inheritance.

A Living Inheritance

Raw Manuka honey, royal jelly, bee propolis, beeswax, and honeybee pollen appear across our line — not as trend ingredients, but as a living inheritance. Our founder grew up surrounded by her grandfather's bees, and that heritage lives in the formulas the same way it lived in his garden: hands-on, unhurried, and accountable to the hive itself.

Traceable to the Hive

We source raw honey from Granite State Apiaries in Nottingham, New Hampshire — our own backyard — a small family operation raising honeybees and producing raw natural honey from the same landscape our botanicals come from. Our UMF-certified Manuka honey comes from New Zealand Honey Co., radically transparent and traceable back to the hive. Nothing in this pillar is sourced at a distance we can't account for.

Why We Advocate for Pollinators

We proudly partner with Bee the Change, a Vermont initiative that plants pollinator habitat in the unused land surrounding solar fields. As a solar-powered business ourselves, supporting that work isn't a marketing decision — it's a closed loop we're already standing inside of.

Bees are also the reason our botanicals exist at all. Every plant we infuse was pollinated first. Advocacy, here, isn't separate from formulation — it's upstream of it.
